Time is Running Out to Apply for the 2022 Publication Award
The deadline to nominate an early career researcher for the 2022 ROI Publication Award is Thursday, July 7, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. The honor recognizes the lead author of a recent manuscript that has the potential to impact the practice of radiation oncology. A $5,000 grant to advance the lead author’s research trajectory that is consistent with the mission of ROI will accompany the award. ROI will present the 2022 Publication Award at the ASTRO Annual Meeting in San Antonio, and the winner and up to two honorable mentions will be featured in a variety of promotional materials, including the next issue of The Visionary and on social media.
Residents, fellows and researchers within ten years of completing their terminal training program are eligible for the ROI Publication Award. Self-nominations are accepted. Articles must have been published in a peer-reviewed journal and first made publicly available by the journal between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022. See the complete eligibility and criteria for more information and how to submit your nomination.
