RadOnc Toolbox App Now Available

Among the thousands of medical apps that are released every year, the ROI hopes that its new app, the RadOnc Toolbox, will stand out because it fulfills a unique need for radiation oncologists. The RadOnc Toolbox compiles and categorizes evidence-based symptom management strategies for radiation toxicity to provide radiation oncologists with a clinical resource that could help improve practice and patient outcomes.

The RadOnc Toolbox includes:

  • Evidence-based interventions for managing and preventing 8 of the most common radiation-related toxicities.
  • CTCAE toxicity scales.
  • QUANTEC dose constraints.
  • A dose conversion calculator.
  • Performance status scales.

The symptom pathways for toxicity management are based upon the work and publications of MASCC (Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer) and the International Society of Oral Oncology (ISOO) as well as the World Health Organization (WHO).

Download the RadOnc Toolbox app on the App Store® or access all of the same content at rotoolbox.com. The app and website are free but require a login with ASTRO.org credentials.
