ROI Revamps Publication Excellence Awards
The Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI) annually honors exceptional early career investigators who have recently published the best manuscripts that are advancing the ROI’s research agenda. The 2023 call for nominations features several enhancements, including new prizes and an updated name.
The ROI Publication Excellence Awards will continue to recognize early career investigators whose work addresses one or more of the ROI research priorities: communication, safety and quality, toxicity management, comparative effectiveness and value. Up to three winners will be selected annually, and each will receive $1,500 cash and a trophy that will be presented at the Friends of the Foundation reception at the ASTRO Annual Meeting.
ROI is accepting nominations for the 2023 Publication Excellence Awards through Friday, July 7, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. Manuscripts must have been published in a peer-reviewed journal between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023. Nominees can be either first or last author on the manuscript and must be a resident, fellow, or within ten years of completing their terminal training program. Self-nominations are accepted.
